Employers
All current employers form part of the local government family within the West Midlands region. Between them, they employ over 200,000 people; with the smallest employing around 3,000, to the largest employing just short of 60,000.
The areas within which the employers are situated vary considerably (from vastly rural to heavily urbanised). This is not only from one employer to another, but within organisations themselves as most have multiple locations within the communities whom they serve.
All employers have been established for many years, evolving as necessary, to ensure they are serving the communities in the best way possible, by understanding the needs of their local areas and addressing issues, to make them pleasant environments within which to live.
