Pension benefits currently include: • A tax-free lump sum when you retire. • A guaranteed pension based on your final salary. • The ability to increase your pension by paying extra contributions. • Voluntary retirement at age 60 but the opportunity to work up until age 75. • Death in service lump sum of two times your final pay. • Index-linking to ensure that pensions keep pace with inflation. Holiday provision • Annual leave of 27 days, increasing to 32 days after five years service. • 8 Public and statutory holidays in addition to the above. • Flexi-leave – up to 13 days per year, plus the potential for an additional 5 days subject to time worked, where flexi-time is available.
