Our training programme is influenced by the ever changing needs of the council. The next twelve months is likely to be no exception to previous years with a wide number of changes taking place that will affect the organisational structure and the people who work within it.
During times of change, it is particularly important to maintain a strong approach to developing people and teams, in order to offer them the maximum opportunities for growth and development. This will enable them to maintain their enthusiasm, develop new and wider skill bases and channel their commitment to improving the organisation.
Extensive research has shown that investment in appropriate learning and development enhances individual performance and, in turn, the performance of the organisation.
