We Manage Jobs the region’s biggest online public sector recruiter has signed a landmark deal with 27 local authorities across the West Midlands.
Councils and fire services have subscribed, based on the level of size and service, to WMJobs who will continue to run local authority recruitment platforms until 2020.
The £1.2 million contract will see 27 public sector organisations use the www.wmjobs.co.uk website for all job vacancies.
Some of the authorities will also take advantage of the We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) Disclosure and Barring service and its applicant tracking system – managing all external job applications and internal vacancies.
Earlier this year WMJobs entered into a re-procurement exercise to ensure it offered the very best in innovation on its applicant tracking system and more efficient for managers and candidates alike. A company called Lumesse won the contract with its TalentLink system.
To help further seal the deal WMJobs overhauled its consumer facing website with a new look and total system upgrade that went live at the end of July.
The new state of the art jobs board is delivered by a company called Madgex who are leaders in the area of online recruitment. Clients include The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Independent.
The new platform boasts the latest in online job advertising providing more ways to promote vacancies, a better experience for candidates and is fully responsive as it adjusts to personal devices including, mobiles, tablets and laptops.
