Holy Trinity is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School.

This means that it was founded by the Church of England back in 1843 but is now 'controlled' by Sandwell Education Authority who provide the money to run the school. However, members of the church still help to govern the school and are responsible for overseeing the Collective Worship in the School. At present, the vicar and his wife of Holy Trinity Church serve on the Governing Body.

Staff and Governors at Holy Trinity are committed to providing an environment where all children feel secure and valued and have the opportunity to achieve their best, irrespective of gender, background, ethnicity, or special needs and this is reflected in our Mission Statement and Aims. In addition to developing children’s communication, literacy, mathematical and I.C.T. skills, we seek to help them develop their self esteem, to learn to work cooperatively with others and to prepare them for the choices and challenges of adult life in a diverse society.

"You are precious and honoured in God's sight."

Isaiah 43:4

At Holy Trinity we believe that all people are precious and honoured in God’s sight. From this belief comes a desire for all in our care and in our partnerships to experience life in all its fullness, as promised by Jesus.

We embrace the spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, moral and social development of our young people.

All that we do is underpinned by the modelling and promotion of six core values. These are: Peace, Hope, Friendship, Respect, Honesty and Forgiveness.

We offer a vision of human flourishing for all, one that embraces excellence and academic rigor, but sets them in a wider framework.
