Salary up to £12,656 pa. 37 hours per week (5 days per week), Term time only plus 5 teacher training days.  Salary will be pro rata to weeks worked. (Fixed term contract for duration of apprenticeship anticipated to be 18 months in first instance.)

This is an excellent opportunity to support with the teaching of subjects within the Performing Arts faculty, by maintaining and preparing technical systems, equipment and materials for use by students and staff. Along the way you will gain a Level 3 (A level equivalent) Creative Venue Technician NVQ.

Through the leader in our Performing Arts Faculty, we will provide comprehensive induction training.  You will shadow our other staff so you can get a really good understanding of our systems and policies and have the opportunity to ask questions and get to know our students during your induction programme.  Thereafter dedicated time will be built into your working week to enable you to progress with your apprenticeship qualification.

This opportunity provides scope to develop knowledge, skills and experience that could be a stepping stone to employment. You will also have the opportunity to support the planning and delivery of high quality learning and by working in our school community you will be equipped with a wide range of skills and experiences that will allow you to be prepared for future employment.
