About Us and The Role

 

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and well organised Business Support Officer to join our reception team at Kings House, Bedworth. 

 

Warwickshire County Council Business Support Service provides efficient and professional administrative activities with a focus on continually improving the way we work.

 

You will be responsible for greeting and welcoming visitors; following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception (monitor visitor log/issue visitor badges); answering and forwarding incoming phone calls; answering queries, providing basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email; as well as other tasks including desk or room bookings, printing, photocopying, and postal duties.

 

We are looking for a flexible, self-motivated individual with:

  • the ability to work in a collaborative way
  • an eagerness to drive continual improvement

 

As a Business Support Officer, you need to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, be organised and demonstrate effective time-management skills, produce work to a high standard, maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements.
