Asset Management Data Co-ordinator £25,991 to £28,672 per annum 37 hours per week Fixed Term Contract until 31.12. 22

This exciting and key role within the Asset Services team of Warwick District Council is at the core of informing Asset Management operations whilst also demonstrating that the Council is complying with all its statutory and regulatory responsibilities for built assets and land holdings.

As Data Coordinator you will be collating, maintaining, updating and analysing stock attribute, repair and estate management data so as to inform planned and preventative maintenance or investment programmes going forward. The role will also proactively formulate recommendations for improving the efficiency and value for money of the Councils responsive and cyclical repair and maintenance contracts, both current and in the future.

There will also be the opportunity to become increasingly involved in the continued development of the Asset Management database and other systems used by the team and its contractors.

A naturally analytical ability with excellent problem-solving skills is essential to the role, as is the ability to confidently communicate and liaise directly with a wide variety of clients and stakeholders.

Candidates should be educated to degree level or least have significant demonstrable experience of working in database analysis and reporting. Experience of data extraction using SQL or even Crystal Reports would be highly advantageous as would any previous experience of working with Asset Management databases. An advanced understanding of MS Excel is a must!

Other desirable skills would include a knowledge of building design and construction technology, Housing repairs standards and legislation such as the Decent Homes Standard, HHSRS and Right to Repair.
