About Us & The Role
Stratford District Children’s Team are a case management team that covers rural South Warwickshire. With offices based just outside Stratford Upon Avon town centre the service works with children from 0-18 covering a range of work from supporting families on a Child In Need basis through to child protection, court work, Children In Care and adoption. We are looking to recruit social workers to our expanding Children's Safeguarding and Support Service. If you would like to join a team which constantly strives to achieve the best outcomes for the children and families we work with, embraces new social work practices and is committed to providing a supportive learning environment for social workers to develop their skills and practice then we want to hear from you. We are looking for committed, enthusiastic and motivated child focused social workers to help us improve the outcomes for our young people, ensuring their voice is heard and remains central within our decision making processes. We are able to offer a supportive management team, an established ASYE and ongoing training programme as well as a clear career pathway to support social workers to achieve their potential and be the best they can be.Key requirements:- Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW))
- Social Work England registration
- Experience in children's social work
- Have excellent analytical skills with ability to make well informed decisions
- Have the ability to record and produce concise, effective and accurate reports
- Have good communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with children and families
