 As part of our drive to improve, Herefordshire Council is seeking to appoint dynamic, forward-thinking and experienced qualified social workers to work within our frontline services. You will be right in the heart of our children’s services, based in our Children in Need team, Assessment team or our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub.   You will have a track record of working with children and families whilst demonstrating a sound knowledge of legislation and regulation and experience of safeguarding and risk assessment practices. In return we will provide you with regular supervision, the opportunity for progressive professional development and the chance to work with a team dedicated and committed to achieving best outcomes for children in Herefordshire.  Staff also benefit from the support of the Social Work Academy, a team of experienced social workers who provide training and support to all staff.

This role is based in Herefordshire, one of the most rural counties in England with beautiful un-spoilt countryside, distinctive heritage and many attractive and lively market towns.

Holidays: 25 days per year plus 2 days unpaid at Christmas (pro rata for part time)
