Level 3 Senior Production Chef Apprentice

Fixed term contract for 15 months

Salary: £14,286.49 (pro rata) (per-annum)         

Hours: 30 Hours per week  

The City of Wolverhampton Council is looking for an Apprentice to support the work and services of the Catering Services Team.

The position would suit someone with previous experience in catering who is looking to progress into a supervisory position.

The role will assist the Catering Services Team to be responsible for the supervision and arrangement of duties for the kitchen staff and to take an active part in the preparation, cooking, serving of meals and all other kitchen duties as required.

The role will also include serving food at the cafés in Bantock House and Wolverhampton Art Gallery as instructed by Line Manager. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced staff who are passionate about what they do and are extremely supportive, knowledgeable and willing to help you.

You will be supported by experienced staff who can assist you with your work and study to give you the experience to apply for other roles within the council.
