Environmental Protection Technical Officer
£25,991 - £28,672 per annum (pay award pending)
37 hours per week
Fixed Term Contract up to 24th August 2022 (Maternity Cover)
An exciting opportunity to further your career has arisen for an Environmental Protection Technical Officer (EPTO) within the Environmental Protection Team.
For the next 12 months, you will have excellent support to develop and deliver a range of technical skills ranging from air quality monitoring, investigation of statutory nuisances, and monitoring water quality, through to the installation of noise monitoring equipment to investigate relevant cases.
In recognition of the regulatory regime in which we operate, the successful candidate will be expected to remain compliant with all current legislation, procedures, and good practice.
We are looking for a true team player with a strong commitment to ‘getting the job done’ in accordance with departmental and corporate policies and procedures.
WDC offers a flexible approach to working, currently due to Covid 19 restrictions, the intention is for the job holder to work from home with periodic visits to the main office building situated in Royal Leamington Spa.
