Air Quality Officer
Air quality is a top priority for Warwick District Council, so we are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced air quality specialist to step into this brand-new role as our Air Quality Officer (AQO).
If you have vast knowledge of current air pollution issues both regionally and nationally and recent experience of successfully developing appropriate responses to meet those issues, then this role could help you to develop those skills even further.
With a good balance of technical and administrative skills, the successful candidate will be able to contribute to the vision the Council has to work closely with other delivery partners and have a presence at regional discussions on transboundary matters.
Your input will significantly impact on the quality of life for residents and improve the experience of those who work in and visit Warwick.
If you believe you have these skillsets and the desire to work in one of the most vibrant and forward-thinking local authorities in Warwickshire, then we would like to hear from you.
WDC offers a flexible approach to working and currently expects officers to work from home with periodic visits to the main office building situated in Royal Leamington Spa.
In return we offer a competitive salary and all the additional benefits of BUPA cover, and a paid subscription to one professional body.
If you would like more information about this new role, offered for a fixed term of 2 years, please contact Mrs Paulette Samuels – Environmental Protection Team Leader on 07921 212498 for an informal conversation.
Please note we do not accept CVs or recommendations from recruitment agencies.
