North Warwickshire Children's Team are looking for an experienced Social Work Team Manager to join our Duty & Assessment Team.
You would be joining a strong leadership team who are working together to build and develop the Duty & Assessment Team within a wider Social Work service. We are working to create a responsive service which is able to recognise and meet the needs of children and enhance the life experiences and chances of our children and their families.
37.0 Hours per Week
The Team Manager role is key in ensuring consistently safe practice in supporting, guiding and supervising Social Workers.
The Duty & Assessment Team takes cases needing assessment from the MASH (Multi Agency Screening Hub). The Team Manager will participate in initial Strategy and Triage meetings and will then direct and manage Social Work involvement to a point where assessment is completed and a working plan to meet identified need/risk is in place.
We are seeking an experienced practitioner who recognises and strives towards consistently good practice with a genuine commitment to getting the best outcomes for Children and families. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised Managers who will work hard and to high standards. Strong communication together with significant Social Work experience is essential.
Experience of managing/supporting Social Workers and/or Social Worker practice is also a requirement.
