Little Willows Pre-School offers a high quality care and education for children aged 2 to 4 years. It has a very high reputation and is highly respected within early years education and by external support agencies. The pre-school is situated within two classrooms in Whitnash Primary School with an exclusive outdoor play area and offers sessional and wrap around care between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. termly.
Our aim is to create an early years environment in which children can learn without limits, where possibilities are endless and where they can discover the thrill of exploring and the delight when they achieve something new. We seek to promote the development of independence, confidence, self-esteem and believe in the innate potential of every child.
We have developed a team of dedicated and committed staff members and are now looking for a further practitioner. The ideal applicant must desire to be part of a team that seeks to provide an inspiring environment for young children and which supports and encompasses all children’s needs to promote the uniqueness of each child.
You should hold a minimum relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare, be willing to attend training opportunities and be progressive in your development.
Little Willows Pre-School is a WIncKS (Warwickshire Inclusion Kite Marking Scheme) setting and this is testament to the collaborative team ethos which supports and nurtures each individual’s potential and celebrates their progress.
The hours for this post will be from 08.15 to 3.45 p.m. Monday – Friday, term time, with the expectation to work additional hours to 5.00 p.m on a rota basis (for wrap around care). Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. The post is for an initial fixed term contract to July 2022.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an outstanding pre-school and the right candidate will be able to develop their role and became a valued member of a professional team. We are looking for somebody that can use their own initiative and has lots of common sense. A strength in IT would be an asset but not essential.
Little Willows Pre-School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
