The successful candidate for this permanent Assistant Headteacher role will be someone who has the highest aspirations for children’s learning and family engagement. They will be an experienced middle leader, looking to take the next step up into a senior leadership role; or someone who currently holds a similar role, and is looking for their next challenge. This person will have strong subject knowledge at Primary level and they will have a proven track record of whole school improvement, of coaching and mentoring other teachers, in order to improve and refine their teaching practice. In addition, they will keep their knowledge and skills as a leader up to date and be self-reflective. The post does have class teacher responsibility but you will also have guaranteed leadership time weekly in addition to PPA. The successful candidate will join a school that is eager to make further improvements in the best interests of our pupils, and will have the opportunity to make an impact at an exciting period in the life of the school.
