We have an exciting opportunity to recruit to the position of Senior Trading Standards Officer - Citizen & Consumer Protection Team within Regulatory Services at Sandwell MBC.

We are looking for a committed and driven individual to join the team in this Senior Officer position. You will provide day to day supervision to a team of officers within a given specialism who operate within a defined geographical area. Will act as Deputy or Chief Inspector of Weights and Measures as required. You will ensure officers within the team act in accordance to legislation and regulations relevant to their specialism and oversee the investigation of complaints, both criminal and civil.

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent in a subject relative to either Environmental Health or Trading Standards.
A basic DBS check is required for this role.
