DIAL A RIDE RELIEF DRIVER

£19,312 per annum (Pro Rata to Hours Worked)
An opportunity has arisen for a driver to join the Dial A Ride team on a casual basis to provide holiday and other absence cover within the Redditch area. The working pattern for this post is irregular based on cover required, and so requires a flexible individual who is also able to work at short notice.
Dial A Ride drivers are responsible for:
- Transporting older people and people with disabilities in a safe and comfortable manner using our specially adapted vehicles.
- Assisting customers getting on and off the vehicles, securing wheelchairs and assisting customers with their luggage.
We would very much like to hear from you if you have experience of providing a professional service to older people and people with disabilities. The successful candidate will hold a clean, valid UK driving licence and must have D1 entitlements. They will be required to successfully complete the Worcestershire County Council minibus driver assessment test and undergo a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure.
