Job Details
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible Apprentice to support in the teaching of PE across the school. This role will also involve spending time in the classroom supporting English and Maths The qualification will be Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship and it will include a qualification in supporting the delivery of Physical Education and School Sports.
This apprenticeship will involve supporting the specialist sports coach in the planning and teaching of Physical Education lessons as well as supporting the teacher in the classroom. The successful candidate will be expected to work in the classroom supporting in English and Maths and also alongside the Sports Coach teaching PE.
Applicants will have a positive approach to working with children as a member of our friendly and supportive staff team. A comprehensive training and induction package will be provided.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced staff to gain knowledge and skills related to this role whilst completing a level 3 apprenticeship.
Temporary Contract, 18 months. Term Time Only + 5 Training Days
Start Date: October 2021
Monday – Friday 37 hours a week. The hours are flexible depending on the needs on the school. They will fall between the hours of 8:15am – 5:00pm
Closing date is midnight on Thursday 16th September 2021.

Stage 2 (23rd September) – Pre-interview
(The pre-interview is a short session to give you further details of the apprenticeship role and to help you understand what to expect from and how to prepare for the final interview.)
Stage 3 (28th September) – Final interview.
