Early Years Support Worker
Contract: Fixed Term 2 years
Hours: 37.00 Salary: £19,698 - £21,748 Per annum
Closing: 22/09/2021
As an Early Years Support Worker, you will be required to work within a team, which covers the whole of Herefordshire Children Centre Service reach areas. You will have experience of working with families and young children.
A good knowledge and understanding of childcare, development and the EYFS. You will be responsible for assessing and observing children, recording and tracking progress on a database.
You will have experience and knowledge of a multi-agency environment that supports vulnerable families.
You will work in collaboration with colleagues and multi-agency partners to engage families in the appropriate services.
You will also be confident in lone working, have access to a car and be a car driver.
You will be responsible for supporting improvements in outcomes for children and/or young people through leading the delivery of play and learning opportunities throughout Children’s Centres, individual family homes, other community settings and outreach locations.
Knowledge and experience in delivery of targeted evidence based programmes to families is desirable alongside the flexibility to encourage engagement and enhance the children in their development to support the best possible start in life.
