Assistant Principal Social Worker

If so, then an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the new Principal Social Worker Service. This role will work directly with the Principal Social Worker to promote and quality assure effective assessment, care planning and intervention for children and families across Children’s Services.
You will act as a professional expert practice lead and mentor, supporting the development and improvement of practice standards, providing case consultation, assisting with training interventions and workforce planning, providing advice and guidance on complex casework and promoting a learning culture.
You will also share responsibility for the ASYE social workers in their designated area, to support their professional development, training and providing reflective individual and group supervision.

Band H, SCP 44 - 49 (£38,789 - £43,387 per annum) (£20.11 - £22.49 per hour)
