The Information, Technology and Digital service will be at the heart of achieving these goals. This is an exciting role in leading and supporting the IT&Digital service to become an agile digital delivery organisation – supporting the move to DDAT roles; introducing agile delivery methods and tools; and creating the mechanisms for managing work into and through the agile delivery lifecycle.
In addition to managing this ambitious transition, the PMO Manager will be required to lead and develop the existing PMO, project managers and the wider organisation through the transition to adopting agile delivery.
The PMO Manager will develop and implement best practices to enable the successful delivery of a broad range of IT and business change projects to stakeholders across the business.
Operationally, the PMO manager provides and enables project prioritisation, management information, financial reporting, resource planning, decision making, and recruitment.
