Estates and Facilities Operative

Salary:

£20,092-£24,491 dependent on experience

Hanley and Upton Educational Trust is looking to recruit a full time Estates and Facilities Operative, responsible for carrying out a range of duties which contribute to the maintenance, repair, security and general upkeep of the schools’ facilities.  In addition, as a member of the Schools support staff, undertake a range of duties concerned with the premises and ancillary duties to support the functions of the academy school.  The Facilities team is based out of Hanley Castle High School and supports three local primary schools as well as the main site.

This role would ideally suit an individual with experience of and aptitude for general DIY, general maintenance and repair, such as a knowledge of basic plumbing, basic painting, basic electrical work, grounds maintenance and basic carpentry. 

Working hours:

37 hours per week, Full time.

Monday – Thursday; 12-8pm

Friday; 12-7:30pm

Flexible working arrangements during half terms and summer holidays.
