We are looking to recruit two experienced SEND Teaching / Support Assistant Grade 3, full time (term time only) to join our secondary team at King Solomon International Business School.

King Solomon is a Free School which opened in September 2015 and caters to ages 4 – 18. Our Primary School is two-form entry, and the year groups currently range from Reception to Year 5. Our Secondary School is a three-form entry and the year groups currently range from Year 7 to Year 12.

If you have had experience in working with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in either a school or specialist setting then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We require an enthusiastic, hard-working and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to include one-to-one individual support and some teaching of KS3 and KS4 students identified with SEND, under the guidance of the SENDCO and class teacher.

The school will require an experienced SEND teaching assistant/learning support assistant who is:

  • Experienced in supporting individuals with Autism and language/communication needs and has a good understanding of how a pupil's needs can be met within a mainstream setting.
  • Able to work independently with a student on a 1 to 1 basis or with a group of students
  • Able to demonstrate the impact you have had on a child's progress and development.
  • You will need to be flexible and focused in your approach and committed supporting SEND in mainstream schools.
