The Role

The Headteacher and Governors of Croft Junior School, are seeking to appoint a level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis, supporting a child who has an EHCP. We are a three-form entry Junior school and can offer you:

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
A commitment to support the inclusive ethos of our school.
Confidence, resilience, enthusiasm and a passion for learning.
Excellent English skills (Clear written and spoken English) along with good reading and numeracy skills.
Knowledge and experience of effective behaviour management.
The ability to build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents and carers.
Experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).
The ability to promote positive behaviour in a nurturing environment is essential.
Qualifications including, GCSE in English and Maths (A to C) or equivalent.
