Temporary SEN Teaching Assistant – 2 posts

Salary: £12,901.84 - £14,244.56

Grade G4 (points 6-11)

 28.3 hours per week term time only from September 2021

Greenfield Primary school is a one and a half form entry Primary welcoming children from Nursery to Year 6 and currently rated “Good” by Ofsted.

We currently require 2 experienced teaching assistants, both to work 28.3 hours a week, Monday to Friday, term time only, to support children 1:1 with complex additional needs.

We are seeking enthusiastic and creative applicants to help a child 1:1 with learning and developing communication and social skills as well as supporting them in their learning journey.

You should have a working knowledge of strategies to support children with a range of additional needs.

These posts are temporary and will terminate either when the child leaves the school or should the funding for the post be discontinued under the new EHCP review process. One child is currently in Reception and one child is currently in Year one, so potentially the post could continue until the children complete their primary school education.
