Business Support Officer

Salary:  £19,698 - £20,903 per annum 

2 x Business Support Officer posts

Business and Executive Support is a central business support function which is aligned to meet the requirements of Staffordshire County Council and which fulfils the needs of the organisation as it evolves.

These two posts are currently situated within the Governance & Assurance Team within Business and Executive Support.  As a corporate function, we ensure all governance processes and procedures are followed across the whole organisation and timescales met for the publication of information.

One post is to be based at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford

One post is to be based at the Civic Office at County Buildings, Martin Street, Stafford.

The successful applicant(s) will have: -

  • Excellent communication skills to engage our customers and Administration teams to share best practise using digital solutions where appropriate to improve processes.
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, and to manage changes at short notice and to work flexibly.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Providing timely and effective administrative support to the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the County Council.
  • Co-ordination of events for Civic Office.
