Birches Head Academy has recently become part of the Frank Field Education Trust and we work collaboratively with others in our FFET family, allowing our students and staff many opportunities to develop. Birches Head Academy is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated staff, who will support students with social, emotional and mental health needs to overcome barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working with children of relevant age in a learning environment. You should possess the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues and parents / carers. You must be computer literate, organised and have a good general standard of education at Level 2 or above, including English and Maths.

All staff play a vital role in helping us to ensure our students receive a world-class education, thereby enabling each child to reach their full potential.
