Herefordshire Council is in the 8th year of an innovative services contract to maintain and improve the public realm for residents, businesses and visitors to Herefordshire. The public realm contract has an initial term of 10 years with a maximum possible extension of a further 10 years. The contract scope includes highways infrastructure services, asset management, flood risk management, street cleaning, maintenance of parks and open spaces with an annual spend of approximately £20m.
We are recruiting a Lead contract Officer to assist in the management of the contract management team to manage this contract, working collaboratively with our service provider to deliver an excellent service for the people of Herefordshire. The role will suit someone who can demonstrate good contract and commercial management experience with excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop a culture of continuous improvement and deliver the highest performance for themselves and others.
