Project Support Officer Salary:  £27,041 per annum

37 Hours per week – Fixed Term 12 months, based at Stafford, flexible working available.

We are looking for a talented flexible individual to join the skills & employability team  to assist in the project management of economic and skills programmes.

The programmes are designed to support businesses to move quickly and thrive following the pandemic and to support residents to gain the skills needed to support personal and economic growth.

You will be responsible for ensuring project status, issues and risks are effectively communicated to officers and boards to ensure the timely delivery of projects.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Experience of working with skills, employability, business and enterprise projects
  • Monitoring and reporting on project activities, timescales budgets and resources
  • Assisting project managers by liaison with stakeholders to ensure progression of project related activities
  • Leading on the delivery of routine projects with support

An effective communicator with good planning, monitoring and reporting skills, you will also need to be a team player who can quickly build working relationships with colleagues and external partners.
