Kings Norton Girls’ School and Sixth Form is an OFSTED outstanding school and one of the top comprehensives in the country. Our school lies in the heart of our community and is highly regarded locally. As a science department, our aim is to enable our learners to develop the underpinning knowledge, analytical skills and inquisitive attitude that will enable them to make sense of the world around them. We are looking for a general science technician to join our team to provide the practical support to ensure our students can experience practical science. The successful candidate will be a team player that will work collaboratively with the science technicians and teachers.

They will work closely with the senior technician to support the day to day running of the science prep room, science labs and the safe running of practical work. Duties will include working with the senior technician to prepare and deliver practical's, clean and maintain equipment and lab space, and to ensure that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

The successful candidate will find themselves working in a friendly, supportive and ambitious, department and school, where we always strive to provide our students with an amazing learning experience. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
