Senior Design Technology Technician - Burton Borough School

Term time plus one  week (PD Days)

NJC Scale 3 (£10.01 - £10.21 per hour) dependent on experience and length of service 

Burton Borough is a vibrant and inclusive mixed Community School of 1159 students, situated on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border within the pleasant market town of Newport.  Our location provides easy access to/from Shrewsbury, Stafford, Telford and Wolverhampton.  The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  Successful applicants will need to undertake a DBS enhanced clearance for the school.

The main purpose of this post is to provide technical support to the Design and Technology Department.  Assisting the Head of Design and Technology, in ensuring the smooth running of the department, assisting staff and students, by ensuring the safe preparation of materials, tools and equipment for day-to-day use.
