Walmley Infant School is 3 form with a 52 place Nursery with an outstanding reputation within the community. We pride ourselves on our caring and nurturing ethos with our children at the heart of all we do.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Bursar to join our busy, friendly Infant school. The successful candidate will be up to date with current educational developments and willing to undertake training when appropriate.

You must be prepared to become an integral part of our busy school, being responsible for the following:

  • the administrative, financial and HR procedures and systems of the school, ensuring that all legal and safety requirements with regard to people and property are fully met.
  • you will work closely with the building site supervisor to ensure Health and Safety for all users of the school site.

The successful candidate must have a good standard of education and set an example of personal integrity and professionalism at all times

You should have excellent interpersonal skills, communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues; be a creative thinker and problem solver; have a strategic approach; be highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Experience of SIMs and Facility would be an advantage
