The Role

Higher Level Teaching Assistant Vacancy – Aylesford Primary School
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a part time basis from September 2021.
The successful candidate will be expected to work in partnership with teachers in planning and delivering learning activities to pupils. There is an option to also assist with any cover requirements the school may have for unplanned and/or planned absence.

Relevant Allowances: Hours per week: 6.5 hours/1 day per week - Thursday: 8.30am – 3.30pm (with a half hour break) term time only plus teacher training days (39 weeks)
Salary Scale: Grade I, Points 17-20 (£27,041.00 - £29,577.00 per annum, pro rata) which equates to a part time salary of £4,067.80 per annum
Contract: 12 months fixed term in the first instance, to be reviewed
