We are looking to recruit to the post of Strategic Manager Integrated Commissioning & Partnerships. This is a critical role within the Integrated Commissioning &Commercialisation division and reports into the Assistant Director.

The role oversees 2 teams - the 0-25 and the 18+ commissioning teams and covers the children’s, adults and Public Health commissioning portfolios. The 2 teams are responsible for areas including needs assessments, service reviews & redesign, coproduction, engagement & consultation on services, benchmarking/local authority comparison, service specification development, development of strategies, framework/spot/new contract development & negotiation, determining service demand, market shaping & development.

We work as part of the regional networks and have some close local networking links working with local voluntary, community & social enterprise partners.

Our relationship with the CCG is good and we jointly commission services and have some posts jointly funded. This role is responsible for the Better Care Fund and the smooth running of the Joint Commissioning Board, the new CoCo (Commissioning and Contracting) Board and a number of steering groups.

Our teams are moving back into the office from September on a mixture of home and office working and the Strategic Manager would also be expected to model this work pattern.
