Learning Support/Teaching Assistant
Grade 4 (SCP 6-11) Actual salary £5784-£6386
Fixed term post, 12.5 hours per week term time only
Position available only as long as child remains at St Michaels C of E Primary School.
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant is required for 12.5 hours a week, term time only to work with a Nursery child, on a one to one and small groups basis, who has a range of needs associated with Downs syndrome.
St. Michael’s is a caring school with a commitment to high standards. We need an experienced and empathetic member of staff to help unlock the child’s potential, and someone who can support the Christian Ethos of the school. Could you be that person?
You need to have lots of patience and be able to work closely in a supportive team, and be willing to work hard to develop your skills. This post is linked to working with an individual child.
