We are looking to recruit to the post of Strategic Manager Contract Management and Provider Improvement. This is a critical role within the Integrated Commissioning &Commercialisation division and reports into the Assistant Director.
The role is responsible for a number of key functions:
• contract management, compliance & quality assurance of all children’s, adults & public health contracts using a risk stratification approach, contract variation & contract negotiation;
• working with the providers identified as highest risk in the care market including those at risk of closure or assessed as “Inadequate” or “RI” by CQC in any category, providers in LSE or subject to CQC enforcement action;
• sourcing placements for children in care, respite & soon expanding to include pre- & post-16 education placements;
• sourcing older people’s domiciliary care and residential placements & expanding soon to younger adults.
This role holds the lead relationship with the Care Quality Commission team who support Stoke-on-Trent & will lead or oversee care market issues as needed.
Our teams are moving back into the office from September on a mixture of home and office working & the Strategic Manager would also be expected to model this work pattern.
