Safeguarding Assistant  (Permanent Contract)

Salary:  Grade 6 – £20-903 to  £23,541 per annum

 37  Hours per week –Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Safeguarding Assistant to join the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).   The roles will be full time (37hrs pw) and require some regular office presence working closely with partners, but will also have an element of home working.

The Staffordshire Adult Safeguarding Team is a dynamic and forward thinking team based within a multi agency environment.  The role of Safeguarding Assistant is to support the Safeguarding  Advanced Practitioners and Practice Leads in the implementation of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Adult Safeguarding Enquiry Procedures. The Safeguarding Assistant is primarily accountable for carrying out research and checks in relation to safeguarding concerns and document findings to enable safeguarding enquiries to be planned and risks to adults with care and support needs to be appropriately assessed.  The right applicant will need to have exceptional organisational, and recording skills in this busy and fast paced team.
