Band D £23,541-£30,451 pro rata, 37 hours a week term time only (39 weeks) Actual Salary £20,000 pa

An exciting opportunity has become available for the post of Medical and Welfare Officer. We’re looking for a talented individual to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people.  Your experience of first aid will place our learners’ welfare at the heart of the school. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue to develop professionally in a well led and supportive environment.

The person in this role will work directly with the senior and middle leaders responsible for pastoral care in the College and  will play a crucial role in the effective implementation of a number of vital processes. Excellent standards of organisation and prioritisation will be required, as will an ability to work in a calm and orderly manner at all times. Often, this work will require resilience and adaptability as the post-holder is required to respond to the immediate needs of a young person, their family or the colleagues working to support them.
