Learning Mentor
Grade 5 (9 - 17), 32.5 hours per week

The Bentley Federation is seeking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Learning Mentor to join our team of friendly, hardworking and dedicated staff.
You should have a proven track record of developing a variety of programmes to raise the attendance, achievement and self-esteem of students, and of successful interventions working with individuals and groups across all key stages. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils who have emotional, behavioural and social difficulties to achieve academic results while learning the values to build character.
You should be committed to working with students from a range of ethnic and social backgrounds to remove barriers to learning. The ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiative is important and you should be willing to work flexibly within the Federation should the need arise. The successful candidate must be patient, calm and flexible in his/her working practices.
Applicants should be qualified to Level 3 and have experience of working in a similar environment. Full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
