Sports Coach
Grade 5 (9 – 17) 32.5 hours per week, All Year:
£18,360.74 - £21,512.36 per annum
£10.83 - £12.69 per hour
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Development Coach. Working alongside our existing Coach and under the guidance of the Principal and the Leadership Team you will develop and implement a PE and school sport programme, supporting the development of an exciting curriculum and further improving standards throughout the Federation. The successful applicants will be working alongside our well-structured and supportive staff to help our children enjoy, learn and achieve success.
Applicants should:
- have good communication skills.
- be able to engage constructively with a wide range of young people and families / carers.
- have experience of how PE and sport is delivered in primary schools.
- Have experience of contributing to School Development Plans.
Applicants must have a minimum Level 3 or equivalent qualification. You should also hold a current First Aid Certificate or be prepared to undertake the qualification.
You will be required to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups/classes, monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development.
The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.
