The federation of Hanbury' Farm and Oakhill Primary Schools  currently educates approximately  300 children age 4 to 11, across 2 small schools. Both schools are one form entry primary schools with a short distance between  them.

The Governors and Executive Headteacher at the Federation of  Hanbury’s Farm and Oakhill  Primary Schools are seeking  to appoint an organised, lively and enthusiastic Senior Playworker to manage and supervise our after school club. The role involves providing appropriate care to children during the after school club hours, 3:00pm - 5:30pm and contributing to the schools statutory duty to safeguard and protect the welfare of the children.

We are looking for a Senior Playworker who can:

•           Demonstrate a professional and respectful approach to both children and adults.

•           Display excellent teamwork, communication and planning skills

•           Be committed to the provision and  improvement of quality service provision.

•           Be responsible for ensuring that after school club equipment is maintained.

•           Promote and safeguard the welfare of children you are responsible for or come into contact with.

•           Preparing meals and setting up/clearing away of after school club equipment.

The role is a fixed term, temporary position until 20th July 2022 in the first instance with a view to making permanent for the right candidate.

Monday to Friday 12.5 hours per week 3:00pm to 5:30pm, 38 working weeks. Term time only.

Grade 3, SCP 3-4, Pro rota pay is £5,256  -  £5,378 for weeks worked. Hourly rate £9.62 - £9.81 (Pay award pending)

Interviews will take place on Friday 24th September.
