Property Management Officer

Salary:  £32,234- £36,922 per annum

 37 Hours per week

Staffordshire County Council has over two hundred directly operated properties as well as landlord responsibility for many more, including Maintained Schools. The Property Management Officer will be responsible for developing the annual and planned maintenance work schedules, commissioning maintenance works and maintaining asset management and property information data.

The postholder will develop and deliver robust short and long-term maintenance plans through commissioning of relevant surveys, professional services, and contractors. Responsibility for maintaining information in the county council’s Asset Management System, producing reports, and ensuring accuracy of data. This will include the use of applications such as AutoCAD, Geographical Information Systems, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Awareness of health and safety and statutory legislation, that contributes to ensuring a safe and compliant work environment, is a requirement for this role.

Good communication, workload planning and prioritisation skills are required as well as the ability to develop relationships with project managers, service leads and members of the public.

Excellent organisational skills are required with the ability to apply this across different streams of diverse project work and audiences.
