Art and Design Teacher required January 2022
TMS 1 – UPS 3 + SEN 1 point (£2,097)
Sherbourne Fields is an Outstanding all aged Special School catering for pupils with a broad spectrum of special educational needs. In January 2022 we will have a permanent Art Teacher vacancy. We are therefore looking for an outstanding practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals.
(Ofsted - Outstanding 2011/12, 2013/14, and 18/19)

We are looking for a creative, inspirational, enthusiastic and imaginative Art and Design teacher, who can teach a broad range of students with special needs across our school.
You will be excited about trying different teaching methods: someone who is able to think outside the box in order to reach and bring out the very best of our students. A person who can excite and empower our students and bring the classroom environment to life. The successful candidate will be energetic and passionate about their chosen career. Applications are welcome from teachers with experience in primary, secondary, mainstream and special schools, as well as NQT’s. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the school - appointments can be arranged through the school office.
The successful candidate will teach across our Secondary department which encompasses pupils with a broad range of special educational need. The majority of your timetable will be delivering Art and Design up to and including entry level, GCSE Art and Design and OCT Life and Living Skills. You will also be passionate about using outdoor learning to enable you to deliver elements of the curriculum in our school grounds.
You will possess and be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
