The Role
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Learning Support Assistant (Level One) to strengthen our team. This post will be to support a child on a one to one basis, in line with the child’s funding.
We are a unique small school situated in a beautiful rural setting in the Warwickshire countryside. We have fantastic facilities such as a Forest School, Reading Den and Sensory Garden. In addition, in September 2018 we federated with The Revel CE Primary School and so we benefit from working collaboratively with colleagues across The Ignite Federation.
5 mornings a week (8:40am - 12:15pm) Term time only.
17.9 Hours per Week
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will need to:
Secure high rates of progress through lively and engaging learning and have a passion for ensuring every child reaches their full potential
Understand the safeguarding and welfare requirements for primary age children
Develop the children’s understanding of, and commitment to, the learning process
Contribute towards a safe, purposeful and rich environment to optimise learning
Contribute to the learning culture of the school’s staff and children
Contribute to and use on-going assessments to measure progress and adapt teaching and learning have the commitment to work closely with all members of the school community
