Nether Stowe School are looking to appoint a non-teaching Pastoral Head.

The Pastoral Team at Nether Stowe is the beating heart of the school. We are a medium-sized secondary school, rooted in our community. Core to everything that we do is the personalisation of our approach: we know our pupils incredibly well.

You will be joining a highly dedicated, supportive, caring, and experienced team who are passionate about their roles. All pupils at Nether Stowe, from Y7-13, are divided into four Colleges, each with a College Head and a Pastoral Head. You will work closely with a College Head to help forge, communicate and uphold the ethos and expectations of the school as well as the identity of the College.

This is an exciting time to join our school at a time of significant expansion, development and growth.

You will be able to build highly effective relationships with staff, pupils, parents and wider professionals. Effective and empathetic communication is essential, and you will have the skills to listen, support, challenge, acting always with integrity, resilience and determination.

We have the highest expectations of our pupils. We know they are capable of achieving great things. It will be your role to support them on that incredible journey.

It is simply one of the best and most rewarding roles in school and we look forward to receiving your application.
