We are looking to appoint experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and committed team to lead and deliver intervention sessions for individuals/small groups of children to help them reach their full potential. Mon - Fri, 1.00 - 3.15 pm.
11.25 Hours per Week
•Teaching Assistant Qualification to at least NVQ Level 2, or equivalent.
•Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at grades A – C.
•Committed to own professional development, and be willing to undertake appropriate training.
•Good communication and listening skills and be able to present information verbally and in writing.
•Some experience in delivering intervention programmes for groups and individuals is desirable.
•Able to feedback information to teachers/PP & SEN Leads.
•Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
•Able to use ICT effectively to support learning.
•Can adapt planning if required.
•Have a ‘can do’ attitude, able to solve problems and exercise initiative.
•Demonstrate full understanding of safeguarding issues within a school setting.
