We are looking to appoint a number of subject tutors, who have graduated from University within the last two years with at least a 2:1-degree classification in the following subject areas:
These roles have been created to support pupils in years 7-13 whose education has been affected by school closures as a result of Covid-19. As a tutor you will be required to deliver online and face-to-face 1:1 or small group tuition (up to 3 pupils) to provide a longer-term contribution to closing the attainment gap. You will work in partnership with senior leaders and heads of department to support pupils’ progress in identified subjects. We are looking for dedicated people who have excellent communication skills and are passionate about enabling students to reach their full potential. You must be available to work weekends, evenings and to work in the school holidays. A typical week is most likely to be three hours tutoring on a Saturday, one-hour tutoring Monday – Thursday
evenings, immediately after the school day and three hours in normal school hours throughout the week to prepare sessions and to liaise with the head of department in school.
