We are looking to appoint an adaptable, enthusiastic and motivated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across all phases as well as providing Coordinator release time for Covid Catch Up work (Years 1 – 6). The successful candidate will become part of our strong, supportive team and be committed to enabling all children to achieve their full potential through a range of learning experiences. Staff well-being is also a key priority of our school community.

Experience of planning, delivery and assessment of individual pupils, small groups and whole class working is desirable for this role as well as working in partnership with colleagues. A knowledge and understanding of all phases (EYFS to Year 6) is preferable, but again not essential at this moment, however a broad experience of Key Stage 1 and 2 would

be advantageous.

Applicants must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification as per the Person Specification, good oral and written skills and be able to communicate effectively with children of all ages and abilities across our school, where appropriate.

In addition, applicants must be able to work in partnership with staff, parents and where applicable, outside agencies.

First Aid qualification is desirable, but not essential initially, as training will be provided as part of the induction process.

Although this post is advertised for 12 months in response to Covid-19 there is a possibility that this may become permanent depending on the progress of the successful applicant.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
