Job Start Date: 1 November

We are looking to appoint a Building Services Supervisor who will play a key role in ensuring that our school and its grounds are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. We are a happy and welcoming staff and are looking for a team player, able to use their initiative as well as working under supervision.

Candidates should:

• have experience of working on a school or similar site

• be enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable with a flexible, can-do attitude

• be self-motivated and a good team player

• able to contribute to the development and safety of the school

• have a positive disposition

You will be responsible for:

• closing and securing the school site, and being on call for opening the site

• managing cleaning staff

• general janitorial and maintenance duties

Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and previous caretaking/cleaning experience are all essential.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
